Dear All,
Flashgun films are pround to announce the release of their latest film: The Tuna Run – Tavira Portugal. The film tells the tale of how Tavira was once famous for its tuna fishing. The film highlights the fact that the spirit of these brave fishermen is still evident today. This is no fisherman’s tale of catching the “big one” – these tuna were 15 foot long, weighed as much as an average small car and swam 50mph! Not surprisingly then, they called them the bulls of the sea. All the footage was shot in Tavira, Portugal.

Have just discovered your website and am still browsing the posts.
I have a small house in Santa Luzia the most beautiful add on Tavira posseses (in my humble opinion!) A visit to Tavira would be incomplete without a call in at Sta. Luzia.
There are a lot of improvements being made there at the moment and I am sure it will eventually become a destination in its own right but I would urge all your readers to see it before it is transformed completely. You can find some details and photos on my blog http://www.santaluzia-portugal.blogspot.com

Hello Dave,
Hypothetically yes, but practically no as you will have to deal with many “hurdles” on the way (it’s not a straight plain walk).
For instance, these are the directions by car in Google Maps, but as you can see in the satellite view, in the coastal line there are many points that wouldn’t be very easy to cross, unless you are up for a short swim :D
